This scan was done yesterday morning at 6 weeks and 3 days. Sorry it’s so fuzzy. S tried to scan it at work and the results are not real flash. (B1 is on the bottom left corner of the round, black space). We reckon it’s tail up and head down.

So, baby, today you are 6 weeks and 4 days even though you have only existed for thirty two days. Well…there’s also the two months when you were snap-frozen (sorry!), but I don’t think cryo counts as part of your age.

We won’t scan again until 19 weeks. After much debate we are not going to do the 13 week screen for Down Syndrome etc. The false positive rate is quite high and the subsequent miscarriage risks if you do CVS or amniocentesis are also very unappealing.

Morning sickness is interesting. I hope it eases off for Christmas with my family in Queensland. On a brighter note, I am enjoying being nippley, and fuller of breast.
